No Cosigner Student Loans

By far the easiest student loan that doesn\’t require any cosigner is the federal student loan. If you apply for a federal student loan, you won\’t need a cosigner. This is because federal student loans are given to people with bad credit. Federal loans for students are backed up by the federal government.

Most people who need more money than federal student loans can provide will have to turn to private student loan aid. Private student loans require you to have good credit, however. If you don\’t have good credit, it\’s highly likely that you will be asked to have a cosigner sign for your loan.
A cosigner agrees to assume responsibility for your debt. If you don\’t repay your debt, your cosigner will be held accountable for your debt – so only get a cosigner if you actually will repay your loan!
If you don\’t have a cosigner, you can look at getting some sort of bad credit loan to pay for your college. These loans have high interest, so beware.
